Hello again for another week of “You Sew Rock Me Fridays” with 10 awesome projects that I happened to come across this week while surfing the World Wide Craft Web. Some are new, some are old, but all are crazy creative! Take a look!

Project #1

Monica and Jess from the Real Housewives of Bucks County did this Pallet Wall. I love the idea of distressing and painting them different colors. Now if I can just find an extra wall!

Project #2

Shannon from Madigan Made made some Subway Art/Chalkboards out of light switch covers. What a cute and simple idea!

Project #3

Cyndy from The Creativity Exchange did these Monogram Wine Glasses.  What a great gift to make on a budget!

Project #4

Sherry from Young House Love did these Faux Ceramic Animal Ornaments that I adore! This year I am putting up a Christmas tree for the first time in my own house and you better believe I will be making some of these!

Sherry is also one of the co-hosts for the seasonal Pinterest Challenges where we stop pinning and start making. This project was one of her pinterest projects and you can find the link-up for the fall challenge with this entry. What an awesome idea! I am definitely going to whip something up for their winter challenge in January!

Project #5

Emily from Pottery Blog did a how-to on making Custom Texture Rollers for Clay. I came across this quite old post (from 2007!) while I was researching some stuff about clay.  One word for this…genius! It is amazing how expensive some store bought tools can be so I love making tools for almost nothing!

Project #6

Ma from Phar-Ma did this Doggie Scarf.

Ok so I am not one of those people who puts a ton of effort into making (or even buying) dog clothes, but this is cute and super easy. My Doxie Cooper is skinny and gets cold during the winter so this would definitely help keep him warm. A must make!

Project #7

Paige from Pink Lemonade did a Ruffle Scarf tutorial. What a fun and fancy looking scarf…and yet super easy! And sooooo ruffly!

My co-worker has been wanting me to make her a scarf and I think this is will look great on her. I can’t wait to try it!

Project #8

Sausha from Show and Tell did a how-to post on Weathering New Wood.  How useful this could be for all sort of things!

Project #9

Aimee from Artsyville made these Drunken Tiles using alcohol ink.

What awesome colors!!! Just imagine all the neat things you can make with this technique!

Project #10

Allison from O My Family came up with these DIY Baby Legs last year. Um, cute!

More recently, Melissa from Love Bug Living also made some Baby Leggings but used a little more of the sock to put a cuff on the bottom. Super neat!

I am always looking for cute presents for my ridiculously adorable baby nieces and my sister loves these baby leg-warmers. She bought a few {kinda pricy} pairs at Target. Remember the picture of my niece Hannah I posted with the tutorial for the Reversible Car Seat Strap Covers? Yep, she’s 3 but she’s still tiny and these baby legwarmers still fit!

I can’t wait to make the girls some of these for Christmas. Thanks Ladies!

Well, there you go…I hope you will agree these projects are as awesome as I think they are! Now go out and craft! :)
