Saturday, January 28th

For my picture today I decided to drive down the highway a few miles to a little town called Baycliff. (I wasn’t in the mood to trek all the way to Galveston.) There isn’t a ton in Baycliff but there is water access. It was 5-ish so the sun was going down. It was windy and kind of chilly….and really wavy! I snapped this pic of rocks with some cool algae growing on them.

Ok, I am a science nerd so I think it’s cool…

I also snapped this pic with a flock of seagulls flying by and the waves coming in.

My settings for this wave pic were 800 ISO, f/5.6, and 1/1600 sec shutter time. I still need to work on my manual settings because some of my other pics were really grainy…I think the ISO might have been too high.

It’s supposed to be another beautiful day in the high 60′s tomorrow…awesome!

Until later, happy picture taking!

Lower the ISO to lower the noise (graininess). I really like the rocks photo.
