I came right home today and took a nap because I was tired. So with limited options for a picture at 9:30PM, I finally broke down and took a picture of my doxie Marley. I’m surprised that I waited until the 51st day to do it!
I stopped by this adorable park we have in the old part of League City and took some pictures of the rain soaked flowers. The hibiscus is one of my favorite flowers, probably because it just feels so tropical.
The weather started to turn bad today after work and it started to rain so I swung by a nearby pond and caught a quick pic of (another) Great Blue Heron.
I’ve been meaning to catch a pic of a blooming rose so I stopped today on the way home when I saw one.
I had some time today between work and the graduate class I am taking so I grabbed a Subway sandwich and went to the Bay Area Park to see what was going on.

I actually ended up at the other end of the little park and when I got out I immediately noticed a pod of pelicans grouped together swimming in the creek. 3 dozen of them!

I didn’t leave the house until after dark and when I got home I thought in honor of my trip to see the alligators at Brazos Bend yesterday I would take a picture of my little guardian alligator by my front door. Ok, well, I really didn’t have any other ideas.
