MONDAY, MAY 14TH

For many years when I lived in Louisiana, we would sometimes spot these little green parrots flying around. When I moved here, I ran across them a few times also. Today I was driving through Seabrook and I spotted them again. Thankfully I had my camera.

These guys are a little hard to capture so this was the best pic I could get. They are actually Monk Parakeets (Myiopsitta monachus) originally from South America.
